If you're gay or a lesbian. It's a biological error.

I STRONGLY disagree with this Dr. Laura lady (is she even a doctor, :p).
Homosexuality is not a biological error, it's simply a biological difference. A homosexual's genes are just different than that of a heterosexual. It's the same type of difference between a black person and an Asian person, different genes.
I think Dr. Laura is a biological error, there must be something wrong with her brain. She talks about this stuff but she knows nothing.
What are your feelings on homosexuality?
This topic can get personal easily, try not to.

My view is simple - Doesn't affect me. Doesn't bother me.

Whether it is biological, or simply a matter of choice, no one has any right to tell me, you, or anyone else what their sexual orientation "should" be. Our private lives should be just that; and our governments, religions, etc, have been interfering in them for far too long. What affect does some one being gay or straight have on anyone else, aside from their spouse? Absolutely none. So why do governments, religious organizations, or anyone else feel the need to decide for others how they should live their own personal lives?

This reminds me of the debate on light autism, or aspergers.
No, it is not an "error" at all, and it is not even proven that it is a genetic difference as far as I know. It could be, reminiscent of Freud, a shift in someone's psyche as part of some childhood experience. We really do not know.
However, I think we need more intelligent people to conduct public discussions (I'm just assuming that she's some kind of T.V. host. I don't watch television.)

Just fyi, Dr. Laura is a pop psychologist who hosts a radio talk show and writes books. Her views are extremely right wing. She prefers stay-at-home moms and is generally unsympathetic to those who chose divorce, for example.

Again I'd question what exactly gives her or anyone else the right to question how somebody wants to behave in their private lives, when it causes no harm to anyone, and has no effect on anyone except them and the other person in question?

While I may be straight, and my own views aren't necessarily that of homosexuals, I will not ever question their right to be as they wish to be, when it certainly can't harm me.
