Well, I just like making things official :p
What do you think is going to happen at this year's olympics? With all the issues with China and Tibet, as well as many other human rights issues, there are boycotts and protest against the Olympics. Will this continue to the olympics with the athletes, or will they simply leave it alone?

I doubt athletes who worked their entire lives to reach this point (I'd call it a waste, but to each their own) will give it up over the troubles of a few people they have no direct reason to care about.

I don't think athletes will be the catalysts for change, if there is one. Most of them have been hit in the head a few too many times.
