Well, huge evidence of a recession happening in Canada as well as the US just appeared yesterday as the major banks dropped their stock values. BMO dropped 1.10, TD dropped 1.86 and CIBC dropped 2.71
Gold is also continuing on its rise, now at $1033.90 US now.
So, don't worry Americans, you won't be alone.

Anyone who didn't anticipate us following suit was being moronically optimistic.

I find it kind-of silly myself, it's flat-out gambling in many ways, but it's also something that is necessary to a degree.

Well yeah, it's a necessary part of our economy, but it's still a preposterous trade (pun intended.)

Well, yet another huge drop for Canada today.
Canadian Dollar down 2 cents US
TSX down almost 500 points
and a bunch of other crud.
The funny thing about the recession is that everyone who was bragging about all their money from oil will be the ones whining.

Ah, imagine the difficulties we'd be facing if oil wasn't falsely propping our economy up.
