Wow.
I hadn't thought of the internet analogous to other unidirectional media sources before;
although I had heard of the "Internet 2.0" that was being introduced by major telecommunications corporations, and was instantly wary of it.
This is extremely depressing.

However, I bet you, no one will use Internet 2.0. Because, when it starts up, there won't be anything on it.
Ok, that's great, pay ~$50 per month for SUPER high speed internet, but with nothing on it... That's useful.
Internet 2.0 will fail, hopefully Obama does as he said and partially nationalize the telecommunications industry, and hopefully Canada does the same.
Check out the cell phone prices in the US vs. Canada. HUGE difference.:(
