Incoming Censorship

An evangelical leader says it is an abuse of taxpayers' money to put federal funding toward films such as Young People F---ing.

I think this is ridiculous, like some producers said, this is almost censorship! Without these tax credits to movie producers, less and less movies will be created in Canada.
Movies like Brokeback Mountain will no longer be credited, because they are deemed "offensive" or "not it public interest"

It is, despite their reluctance to admit it, and it being somewhat indirect, censorship.
I've never quite understood this fundamental bureaucratic queasyness that surfaces when faced with simple human actions.
As well, although not to lapse into a tyranny by majority, the proponents of this cause are surely few; if they do not wish to watch these movies, there is no reason for them to.
