The Federal Budget

The brand new conservative budget is set to be unveiled today. What do you think will be included? What do you WANT to be included?

I think that there will be tons of tax cuts for companies and other stuff that the NDP and Liberals will be opposed to. I think that the conservatives WANT an election to be called because they have a chance to win a majority :(
I would love to see more support for 'green' technologies and households who decrease their carbon footprint.

It seems as if there is no increase allotted towards alleviating poverty, low-income families and "green" plans. An election would undoubtedly present no chance of winning for the Liberals, and they would do best to stay quiet.

Anyhoo...
The budget was quite sad, but nothing I was very against came out of it. It was simple.
However, I would have LOVED to see more things, not 'Tax-Free Savings Accounts', those only really cater to the people with money :p not to low-income families.
I hope they don't defeat this budget as it is very likely that the conservatives WILL win a majority, but they may not, I haven't seen any recent polls. (Who are in those polls anyways?? My parents have NEVER gotten one, nor have anyone I've talked to, weird :D)

Yeah, the Tax Free Savings Account really disheartened me when I learned of it.
It is a nice bit of political strategy, however; it will be perceived, by many people, as something beneficial for the marginalised ; and those it benefits constitute the majority, to which they would like to endear themselves.
