Union leaders for striking Hollywood screenwriters urged their members Saturday to end the three-month walkout and support a deal reached with film and television studios.
Many of the 10,500 members of the Writers Guild of America (WGA) affected by the strike attended meetings Saturday night in New York and Los Angeles, where the mood was upbeat.

Well, it seems that we may get to finally watch some new episodes of Grey's Anatomy, finally. :D
I thought it was about time, I think they lost more money being on strike for that long than how much was made out of the deal.

I can't wait for new Lost production to start, sure new episodes are on now, but it'll be good to know there back in production.
However, I think some of the late night talk shows have benefited from no writers.

Well the CBS shows got special permission to have popular guests that wouldn't have to cross picket lines, so they were able to maintain their audience. Jimmy Kimmel, Leno, Conan all took hits, having to put on animal acts and politicians to fill the time. I thought Leno himself was just as funny without writers, but the guests were pathetic. Glad to see it will all be back together today.
Will be interesting to see how the networks swap around their schedules to accommodate their returning shows.

Yeah, the animal guests are terrible, but I did like more politically relevant guests. I could care less about what brain dead comments celebrities want to make.

It seems you've been waiting a centuries [sic] too long. This thread's about 4 months old.
