Hi there!

I am Horus, and saw this forum advertised elsewhere. I am registering to take a look and generally get a feel for the place, and improve my knowledge of the political systems of both my home country (UK) and the countries that immediately link to it as a result.

I've got a pacifistic approach to politics thus far; I feel that the general consensus is that the public aren't willing to wait for long-term solutions to the problems the country in question faces. Therefore, we're a world of short-term solutions, of sticky tape and blu-tac.

Well of course! As one of the world's most powerful countries (albeit by association) we deserve one of our own! :D
