Hi
I'm 15, and I'm looking forward to some great debates. XD
I'm trying to become more informed, especially on political issues.
Currently I'm a band geek, but I also love debate.
Oftentimes I'm very neutral on issues, but I'm starting to become more opinionated the older I get...can't imagine how opinionated I'll be when I reach 50...
Anyways, until my next post,
Amy

Welcome...
It's always nice to have more people here. We need more opinions being shared, as it's grown a bit less active of late; Especially since I've become busier so as to be able to share mine less :p

Welcome!
I think I may know who you are (at the risk of sounding depraved in some strange way.)

I think I may know you too Locke. :)
Does anyone know how many other teens there are on this site?

I believe there are only a few who aren't as far as I know.
I won't say who is who, they can do that themselves if they feel fit.
I'm pretty close to a teen.
And I'm not 12.

Really? I always thought you were a 12 year old, for some reason interested in this stuff.

Is 18 considered a teen or an adult? Or somewhere in between?
Regardless, I've been more "grown up" than most people twice or three times my age for a while.
I always thought "teen" had to do with your age. Like.. eigh*teen*.

In my opinion, that would be far too easy.

Well you can be tried as an adult at 16.
You get an adult ticket on the train/bus at 16.
You can drink at 18.
You can get married at 16
And you can smoke at 18.
And we're still no clearer on when an individual is an adult. And yes i used British laws because i am infact British. Your laws are incorrect, your timezones are all messed-up and its pronounced zed, not zee.

The majority of us are Canadian. Our pronunciation and spelling hardly differs.
You could still be a teen and be an adult.
Someone who's 19 is both.
